You agreed to this by booking.

When you book an experience, you agree to these terms. You also agree to not be a jerk about it. Both are non-negotiable.

Cancellations & refunds

• 48+ hours before: full refund, no questions.
• 24–48 hours before: 50% refund.
• Under 24 hours: no refund, but we'll try to reschedule you.
• Once the game starts: all sales final.
• If we cancel for any reason (weather, handler falls sick, act of god), you get a full refund plus a voucher for a future game.

How to play safely

• Follow local laws. If a clue seems to suggest you trespass, we're joking.
• Don't run into traffic. The clue can wait.
• Don't disturb residents, workers, or anyone who didn't sign up for your game.
• If your handler tells you to stop, stop.

You participate at your own risk. We're not liable for injuries, property damage, or embarrassment caused by your own team. We are liable for negligence on our part; standard consumer protections under Indian law apply.

Cheating

Trying to hack the app, share clue answers with other teams, use unauthorized tools, or fake your GPS position gets you disqualified, no refund. We may share evidence of such attempts with future events you try to book.

Photos & content

Our handlers may take photos during your event for our own marketing use. If you don't want to be in them, tell your handler at the briefing and they'll work around you. Content you upload (clue photos, comments) you grant us a limited licence to use for running the event and improving future experiences.

Intellectual property

The cases, clues, brand, and everything about how they're written are ours. Don't reproduce them, adapt them, or run knockoff events using our materials. If you want to license anything, email us.

Disputes

These terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes go to the courts of Gurugram, Haryana. Before suing anyone, please email hello@asterisksociety.com. Nine times out of ten it's a misunderstanding we can fix.
